I had always been fascinated by the teachings of Marianne Williamson and her book, “A Return To Love”, ignited a frenzy of creativity on a number of levels – all deeply rooted in the idea of Unconditional Love and what it means to live a life dedicated to embracing the light of my soul through love.

As I studied her work, I stumbled upon a reflective insight she shared which truly resonated with me and the Industry that I had invested in –

“ Ask the holy spirit to purify our perceptions of the other person – from that place we will find the power of words and silence which brings the peace of God”

I started to realize that miracles could happen in the presence of compassion and non-judgemental listening as the mind of God is the mind of Love.

My creativity had been revived in my passion to revisit my bracelet idea, conceptualize a care company with a difference, and brand my “work apparel” as a reminder to my commitment to lead by example. Love is what connects us to each other and love is the language of the Universe.

In the care industry sometimes it is challenging to express and receive love as your mind gets in the way of ‘seeing the love’ that subtly surfaces through difficult experiences. But ultimately we all have a role to play in keeping the love-light of the world shining brightly and it is the actions that we take in our daily lives that will either contribute to an expansion or block the ability to give and receive love unconditionally.

And so the bracelet was to become a physical reminder to hold “vibrational alignment with who you are no matter what is going on around you” – a simple idea that could have a profound effect on yourself and those in your care. A tangible representation to be the best versions of ourselves and react to life in accordance with our true nature – and expect nothing in return.

This beautiful representation would be worn on the dominant arm, visible, tactile and an obvious trigger to initiate thought patterns, an opportunity to take a breath before we react, and when we do, respond in the moment as God would have done – with complete forgiveness steeped in unconditional love.

I do believe that I am in this industry to experience things first hand and to place myself in situations where I can love others exactly as they are without imposing any rules, desires or expectations and by avoiding selfish and ego-centred situations. To uplift our community who care for our ageing population so that they may feel the love and acceptance and in so doing, maintain their dignity to the end.
