Transforming Traumas into Blessings, Wounds into Wisdom

11th hour of 11th day of the 11th month

A people without a knowledge of their past history, origin and culture, is like a tree without roots – African Proverb

As we remember the heroic efforts and achievements of the many fallen soldiers who lost their lives, let us also consider the blessings as well as the painful imprints that lie dormant within each of us – let this present awareness bring to mind

the historical patterns of our ancestors as well as their rich cultural wisdom intertwined within us to create the psychological and genetic material of our future.

Rabbi Tirzah Firestone

The past does not simply disappear and Remembrance Day is a beautiful tribute to a legacy of both strength and woundedness that shapes who we are as individuals and who we are becoming as a collective.

Healing the historical trauma in our combined bloodlines can be the key to our freedom and days like today remind us that it is in our interest to address our unhealed legacies in order to diminish separation in the unified field and bring healing to our world.

So as we remember those that have sacrificed everything let us also honour their memory and in the name of evolution, remember that

Our soul/consciousness doesn’t carry trauma. Our mind, physical body and subconscious do. We are not our mind and we are not our body. These are finite things. We are a soul. We are pure consciousness. It’s infinite. We can 100% heal and transcend past ANY trauma
