Today my precious mother-in-law made her peaceful transition into the flow of eternal life and looking back at the events of the morning I can certainly see how my inner self had prepared me for that inevitable moment.

As I was coming out of a deep sleep my thoughts turned towards the Disney 1992 animated feature film Aladdin, and the song “A Whole New World”. I knew that it was a message of some sort but I had no idea how profound the lyrics would be…

I was incredibly emotional as I listened attentively to the song and contemplated the words. I realize now that I was being prepared for the events to follow and had been generously given the tools to lean on my belief structures and deal with an emotional morning…
