The Power of One Word

When I started paying more attention to my intuition, the voice of my “higher self”, the daily routine that I had developed became more intimate. I learned to trust the powerful connection I had to the “Universal Mind”- that single, intelligent Consciousness that pervades the entire Universe-

That which is, Omniscience (all-knowing), Omnipotence (all-powerful), Omnificence (all creative) and Omnipresence (always present).

It may be worthwhile to also mention that the word “God” is illustrated in the realm of spirituality as opposed to religion. Quite often people feel uncomfortable with the use of the word “God” purely because of the religious connotations.

Spirituality is essentially the belief that the Divine is within us all, as opposed to a superhuman entity outside of us who has the power to move mountains!

The withdrawal from conditioned faith while embracing authentic living and the perception that man is inherently good and not sinful continues to open up a dialogue of reflection. This spiritual journey is truly a discovery of one’s soul and our connection to God – while acknowledging the significance of any former exposure to an institutionalized system grounded in belief.

It has become evident to me that when we pray we open up a conversation with God who always responds – it is just a matter of listening to our ‘in-tuition’ which spawns from the inner work we do to create a space of peace for our inner essence.

If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking back.

I believe that each and every one of us is a manifestation of this single Universal Consciousness. We are all connected – not only to each other but to all of Nature.

The separateness we “see” is merely an illusion of the personal ego and a consequence of us Edging God Out…
