I’m Moving House and Replacing Old Energy!

Moving houses certainly provides an opportunity to consider that the environment we live in might be subconsciously sabotaging our connection with the Universe!

Our home is an energetic extension of ourselves and when you declutter your life you are literally letting go of your mental and emotional blocks by removing old, stagnant energy and flowing with the magic of the Universe which in turn responds to your vibration.

“I know that I am abundant and loved. I know the Universe always provides for me and I allow myself to clear a space to truly know myself and my new space, So I can make it whatever I choose”  – Jarrad Hewett

Clutter is an outward reflection of our inner world and manifests in a home that is laden with ‘things’ that no longer serve us but play on our insecurities.

These limiting paradigms may be reflected in our possessions and although they make us feel safe and satiated, they have the ability to create instant and long-term overwhelm thus preventing the flow of new energy and instead, harbouring old energy that starts to suffocate us.

Hopefully moving house is not something that you do very often as it’s stressful, but on the upside, it is a perfect time to let go of everything that doesn’t serve you and allow new possibilities and potentials to expand your mind and body through your internal and external environment.

Our home should feel safe and comfortable and also expansive and liberating.

When the past is more present than it should be in your life, it may be that you have clung to the past out of fear of the unknown future. Feeling safe and secure is an undeniable human need, but maybe it is time to consider that your authentic self is always your best security system

The energy of love that emanates from this inner place allows you to navigate a path free from clutter – but in order to do this you have to allow yourself to let go, and in that space regeneration and renewal can flourish.

All said and done, decluttering is a fairly straightforward task if you live in isolation and don’t have to consider those that you share your home with! Under these circumstances, it is important not to impose your wants and needs on others but rather to work on clearing your communal space together and reach a compromise that suits everyone.

For me personally, I still need to step off the hamster wheel – the feeling of moving but staying in the same place. My personal clutter is my wardrobe – I believe that the clothes I wear are literally binding me to an old version of myself and preventing my ability to fully expand – wearing the same expectations, the same reactions, and the same beliefs about what is possible and what’s not possible. Clothes for me are like a security blanket and change makes me feel vulnerable but I am getting there with courage, love, heart, and trust – I choose to see myself through the eyes of source, and love and accept myself completely through this transformation of releasing old energy (clothes) that no longer serve my purpose and turning this move into a positive, meaningful soul journey!

“Be not the slave of your own past – plunge into the sublime seas, dive deep, and swim far, so you shall come back with new self-respect, with new power, and with an advanced experience that shall explain and overlook the old.”  – Ralph Waldo Emerson
